EV charger installation FAQs.
Does every EV charger installation cost $550?
No. The advertised price applies only to installations that meet every standard-package condition. Longer routes, difficult access, double-storey homes, switchboard work, three-phase charging and other non-standard requirements are quoted separately.
Do I supply the EV charger?
Yes. The $550 package is installation-only and assumes you provide a suitable charger with its required installation instructions and components.
Which charger brands can you install?
We can assess suitable customer-supplied equipment for vehicles and chargers from brands such as Tesla, BYD, Geely, Wallbox, Zappi, Ocular and others. Eligibility depends on the exact model and manufacturer requirements.
What if the cable run is longer than 15 metres?
We can still quote the installation. Additional cable, pathway work, labour and any change in cable sizing will be assessed for your site.
Can you install a charger at a double-storey home?
Yes. Double-storey homes sit outside the standard package because access and cable routing are usually more involved, so they are assessed and quoted individually.
What if my switchboard needs work?
We’ll explain any required upgrades or alterations and provide pricing before completing additional work. The charger installation remains subject to suitable supply and switchboard capacity.
What should I include with my enquiry?
Include your suburb, charger make and model, vehicle, property type, approximate switchboard-to-charger distance, and clear photos of the switchboard and proposed charger position.
